With Sails Ahead @ MGRFest | July 26th, 2025

On July 26th, 2025, I found myself at übergeek in Riverhead, NY, for MGRFest, put on by Moon Groove Records. It was an amazing Punk/Metal festival that went on all day! I had such a blast and found some new bands to throw into my rotation! I also bought way too much merch from everyone.

With Sails Ahead really surprised me! When I saw this tiny Filipino girl who was sorta soft spoken start screaming her lungs out, I immediately fell in love with the band. I made sure to pick up all of their music and had the entire band sign everything. I can't wait to see them again.
