On December 5th, 2025, I ended up back at The Broadway in Brooklyn. There was a stacked line-up, this time featuring 5 bands. Talon, Belted Sweater, Perennial, Pretty Bitter, and Ultra Deluxe.

A week before the show, I was listening to music from every band at this show as I was on a roadtrip to visit some family. Talon was the one band that I fell in love with immediately. Self-described as four lesbians who write headbangers in a Williamsburg basement, Talon is an indie rock/soft grunge outfit that is a joy on the ears. I would not shut up about this band to those I was traveling with.

They put on such a fun show, and I need to make sure I see them again in the future.
