Perennial @ The Broadway [December 2025]

On December 5th, 2025, I ended up back at The Broadway in Brooklyn. There was a stacked line-up, this time featuring 5 bands. Talon, Belted Sweater, Perennial, Pretty Bitter, and Ultra Deluxe.

Perennial was a bit of a wildcard for me. While I had been listening to them all week, Talon stole the spotlight from them as I had their album, Codes, on repeat. When Perennial got on stage, I could not take my eyes off them. I went from thinking that they were just some punk band, to realizing that they're one of the greatest modern bands I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

The energy Perennial commands when they're in the room is something else. They do some amazing crowd work, and they put 1000% of their energy into it. I was sure to buy everything they had on sale.
