hopespeak @ MGRFest | July 26th, 2025

On July 26th, 2025, I found myself at übergeek in Riverhead, NY, for MGRFest, put on by Moon Groove Records. It was an amazing Punk/Metal festival that went on all day! I had such a blast and found some new bands to throw into my rotation! I also bought way too much merch from everyone.

hopespeak probably had the most fun soundcheck out of the entire event. Hearing one of the guys scream 1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a thumb war really stood out to me, and I had such a good time. Unfortunately, they're Mets fans, so I have to knock them down a few points.
