Denning's Point Distillery [June 2025]
On June 7th, 2025, I attended Five Points Fest in Beacon, NY.
After walking my friend to the train station, I found myself at Denning's Point Distillery. I had been wanting to go to this distillery since 2022, so I finally stopped by.
After spending my time in the tasting room, I wandered out to the bar. I had a great time speaking to the bartender, I believe her name was Elanna.

After speaking with her a bit, I got to talking about any drinks that she had been workshopping. After a bit of refinement and some back and forth, we ended up making a drink, and I got it named after me!
Here's the recipe:
1.5 ounces of gin
3/4 ounce of simple syrup (brown sugar)
Half a cap of orange blossom water
3/8 ounce of lime juice
3/8 ounce of lemon juice
A handful of mint
A splash of club soda
There's still room for improvement, I think the biggest thing is that you can probably just go with 3/4 of an ounce of lime juice, and the brown sugar simple syrup was made in a 1:1 ratio and not a 2:1, which is what I prefer. We used half of a cap of Cortas brand orange blossom water, so do with that information what you will! The only complaint we got is that it was too drinkable.
