On August 14th, 2025, I found myself at The Broadway in Brooklyn, NY. The show featured Pretty Bitter, AVATAREDEN, and Cheem.

Cheem was the main reason I attended the show. After seeing them live only a few weeks prior, they ended up teasing a lot of new music, and I just had to see them again. When I got to the venue after grabbing a bite to eat, I met up with Sam, the lead singer. I had offered to buy him a drink back in May when I saw him perform for the first time, and somehow I didn't get a chance to buy him one last month, despite being at a brewery. I did manage to get him a Gin & Tonic at this show, and we chatted a bunch before seeing Pretty Bitter open.

Cheem put on an amazing show. They played nearly every song off of their new album, Power Move, and it was such a good set. I can't wait for the album to release.
